Other interests include web and Mac software development, photography, bicycling, and pretty much any topic covered in a Neal Stephenson novel.

Something else that might be nice is a Site News/Announcements section, announcing new features on the site and any other news. I know there's currently an Announcements forum—maybe just list the latest threads from that under an announcements heading on the front page.
I think an overview of recent activity would be nice—this week's new content from the Stories page, a summary of the Site Change History (5 most recent recent forum posts/comments/'Pedia edits, perhaps).

I see that there are scores displayed for each post now, which is great—but in their current location, under the user info on the left side of the post, it makes it look like it's the user's score, not the post's score. I think for it to be clear that it's referring to the post, it should be within the post area on the right, preferably beside the vote arrows.
