Site Help

This is a fairly big site with a lot of stuff going on, so it might be confusing until you get your bearings. This page will try to help.

There are a few things you can do without an account. You can read the Preview, view the 'Pedia, and read the Announcements forum. You can also, of course, create an account.

Once you create an account, you can edit the 'Pedia, and you can also participate in some of the discussions. The discussions are in various places across the site: on the Contents, the 'Pedia, and of course in the Forums. (You can read the discussions without an account, but you can't post anything until you have one.) You can also do the regular sorts of account-related things like confirm your email address and set various account preferences. And once you have an account, you can also subscribe to The Mongoliad. Which is where we think the real fun is.

When you're a subscriber, the "Stories" link gets a lot more interesting, because you then get to see the chapters of our novel as they are published. We'll publish about a chapter a week, and when we can we'll include extras such as character portraits, other illustrations, video, and other interesting tidbits. Subscribers also get access to more forums.
