The Mongoliad comes out of many early morning and late night meetings, brawls, and other discussions with a large group of people, both in person and over the net. Some of us are weapons experts, some study history, some are artists, some are novelists, and some of us just like the fun that happens when you put a bunch of smart people in a room to talk about something. The project has always been a collaborative effort, and the following should only be considered as a rough estimation of each person's role.

Continuity and Canon Management
Art Direction
Technology
Fight Choreography
Foreworld Itinerants
(We would not be here without the assistance of the itinerants, who have assisted in so many untold ways that to enumerate them all would take pages. They are the people who suffer being hit with sticks and swords, who seek answers to questions that involve math, who do research when the writers get lazy, and who have providedtime and againa persistent foundation of energy and enthusiasm that has sustained us all.)
In addition, the following people have been helping us out with various matters:

Will it be possible to determine who wrote which chapters, even if they are collaboratively written?
The writing process is pretty organic so far. Although a chapter usually starts out with one or two people writing, we often pass it around the group as we change and improve things... and everything is based on characters, background, and situations that evolved from highly collaborative group discussions (some of which you can see in videos we'll post). So ultimately it wouldn't really be true to say that a particular chapter was written by one or two people.
So (and this is just curiosity), how is it going to be credited when you eventually get around to publishing the book? Is it just going to be 'written by the Subutai corp.' or is will it credit a couple authors and mention the rest in acknowledgments?
Our intention is to credit Cabal members by name... though it seems unlikely that everybody would fit on the spine!

I think I mentioned this in irc at one point, too. This list should be available for individuals not logged in, as that's the first thing people tend to check "who did this..."
Has anyone considered adding the content of this page also to the "about" section that doesn't require login?
